Group Ex Classes: Zumba, Zumba Gold

As a Zumba instructor it is my goal to create a welcoming environment where participants can be themselves and where I provide an energetic, effective, and fun Zumba class to people of all fitness and experience levels – to achieve a healthy and fit lifestyle. Nothing brings me greater pleasure than to see sweat beads and a smile on my participants’ faces. I’m so grateful to be part of their journey in reaching their personal goals in the gym. One of my favorite things to do is to get down off the platform and workout with them. It’s all about them – to inspire and encourage them to never give up.

As soon as the first song on my playlist starts – I’m excited. In the 1 hour class we travel the globe with music and dances from Brazil, Columbia, Spain, India, Africa, Middle East, Greece, America and Country West. You don’t even have to know how to dance. Just move your body and follow my lead. It’s easy!

Zumba is a great workout for anybody because its exercise in disguise – where you let the music move you – and dancing is one of the great health benefits both physically and emotionally. I’ve even had ladies tell me, Zumba has helped them overcome their depression! Its fitness and fun and friends are made.

The only tip I can give to my participants is; just move, and have fun!

From personal experience, I understand the challenge of moving from a sedentary to an active lifestyle and enjoy helping others make that important transition too. My classes are safe for all ages and fitness levels.
