New Safety and Cleaning Protocols
All employees and instructors have completed the COVID-19 Infection training.
All employees and instructors have the option to wear masks and gloves if they choose to. Members have the choice to bring their masks and gloves from home to use.
Casual usage is not available.
Sanitisation stations are placed throughout the club.
Hand wash signs from the WHO are placed at all sink basins.
Live (online Zoom) classes and outdoor training groups will still be available for those not ready to come back to the Club, until further notice.
Energize has created a library of exercise videos that members who are not ready to come back to the Club can self-subscribe to at www.energizeonline.vhx.tv
All equipment has been washed and the Club professionally sprayed before reopening.
New cleaning chemicals and soap has been purchased as part of our higher standard of cleanliness and sanitisation.
New cleaning roster has been designed with many more cleaning checks of frequent touch point surface areas.
Social distancing and the 4square metre rule applies in all rooms.
Showers are unavailable until further notice.
In Classes and In Gym Areas:
No touch policy has been implemented in teaching classes. Verbal cues will be used instead.
Members are to place mats over designated spacing marks.
Members to use own mats. Shared/hire mats are no longer available.
Members are to disinfect any equipment used #cleaningisthenewcooldown
The Group Exercise Timetable will allow time in between classes for people to leave a room, for cleaning/anti-viral disinfectant fogging to take place before participants for the next class enters.
Members asked to stay at home and not use the facility if unwell or have symptoms.
New members and guests will be asked as part of a health check if they have had or have COVID-19 or symptoms and will need a Doctor’s clearance to start at the Club if they have had symptoms.
Members are asked to abide by social distance laws 1.5m between other members and the Energize Team members.
Members must bring a towel (essential) and drink bottle (drink fountain will be out of use) and for classes using mats, their own mat.
Towels, water and mats will be available for purchase at reception if needed.

In the event there is a reported COVID-19 positive case at Energize, the relative authorities will be contacted and the members who had potential contact will be notified. Energize will be disinfected to ensure it is safe to resume classes.
This COVIDSafe Plan may change at any time at the discretion of Energize and in accordance with Government requirements.
